Job Summary:

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC. is seeking a highly skilled Radiation Protection Specialist to join our team. As a Radiation Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting radiation surveys and inspections to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct radiation surveys and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement health and safety plans to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform air sampling and data analysis to monitor radiation levels and identify potential hazards.
  • Document and report findings to management and regulatory agencies.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 plus years of experience in radiation protection or a related field.
  • Jr. Radiation Surveyor - 3-5 years of required radiation protection experience to be eligible for work locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Professional certifications in radiation protection or a related field.

Working Conditions:
