Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in a variety of settings, including acute care, transitional care, and community health. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, provide education and support to patients and families, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and well-being
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination
Requirements:
  • Current active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) certification
  • Trauma Nursing Care Course (TNCC) certification
  • Knowledge of Professional Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative interdisciplinary environment
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills
