Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the health and well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply the nursing process to support clients in achieving and maintaining their optimum level of health.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in ongoing education and maintain competency in accordance with Southern Health-Santé Sud policies and Professional Standards of Practice.

Requirements:

  • Current active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Knowledge of Professional Standards of Practice, Competency Profile for Licensed Practical Nurses in Manitoba, and Code of Ethics.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative interdisciplinary environment that supports quality services, quality improvement, and staff empowerment.
