Gameplay Software Engineer

Electronic Arts is seeking an experienced Gameplay Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of immersive gaming experiences. This role requires a strong understanding of game design principles, programming languages, and software engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement gameplay systems, mechanics, and features using C++ and other programming languages.
- Collaborate with artists, designers, and other engineers to ensure seamless integration of game assets and functionality.
- Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry standards and best practices.
- Work closely with the development team to identify and prioritize project requirements, and to deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in C++ and experience with object-oriented design and implementation.
- Familiarity with game engines, such as Unreal Engine or Unity.
- Strong understanding of computer science concepts, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to debug complex issues and optimize code for performance.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Electronic Arts offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a salary range of $115,100 - $161,200 per year, depending on location and experience. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits, including:
