Cook Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Dominos. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods. You will also be required to inspect kitchens and food service areas, train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas

Work Environment:

As a Cook at Dominos, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a team environment.

Experience:

We are looking for candidates with 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
