Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team at Codes Corner Esso. As a key member of our retail business, you will be responsible for directing and controlling daily operations, evaluating daily operations, and planning and organizing daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and control daily operations
  • Evaluate daily operations
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Manage staff and assign duties
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold
  • Implement price and credits policies
  • Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies
  • Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
  • Determine staffing requirements
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
  • Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers
  • Oversee payroll administration
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff
Work Environment

Our retail service establishment operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 3-5 years of experience in retail management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
