Lead a Team to Enhance Youth Care

360°kids is a vital community agency serving all of York Region. We have been a leader in delivering innovative support services for over 35 years, striving to improve the lives of homeless and marginalized youth and families.

We offer a unique continuum of care approach with programs and services essential to the health and well-being of youth. Our proven strategies help keep youth safe by providing stable housing options with comprehensive wraparound supports.

This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for ensuring 360°kids Programs meet operational objectives and achieve strategic goals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Auditing program effectiveness
  • Maintaining accurate records and monitoring requirements
  • Designing data collection tools
  • Collecting and analyzing data
  • Developing and implementing quality procedures, standards, and specifications

The ideal candidate will possess strong coordination and technical skills adaptable to various internal and external stakeholders. This position requires planning and executing research and evaluation initiatives to inform evidence-based decision making. Additionally, managing research grants and providing technical expertise are crucial aspects of this role.

In collaboration with the management team, the Director will establish client service standards, methods to evaluate these standards, and create effective partnerships. They will also provide expertise in designing program evaluations, survey instruments, and data analysis.

This leadership role demands high performance, empowering staff through coaching, mentoring, and motivation. The Director will lead a diverse staff team, focusing on recruitment, training, development, and retention to ensure competent and effective management of the Research and Evaluation department.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience in the not-for-profit sector
  • Sufficient experience demonstrating extensive knowledge of working with street-involved youth
  • Familiarity with quality management concepts and methodologies
