We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Documentation and Projects Specialist to join our team at A SAACHI INSURANCE & INVESTMENT SERVICES INC.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, delegating work to office support staff, establishing work priorities, and ensuring procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure they align with company policies and procedures.
- Delegate work to office support staff to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
- Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
- Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including data entry and report preparation.
- Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
- Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
- Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
- Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
- Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of administrative procedures and make recommendations for improvement.
- Plan and control budget and expenditures to ensure efficient use of resources.
- 3-4 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
