Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at TechnipFMC. As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing activities related to the geotechnical analysis of pipeline systems and foundations, as well as associated subsea equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with design rules and procedures in force within TechnipFMC.
  • Maintain, develop, and protect the group's technical capability and know-how.
  • Design soil parameter interpretation from available geotechnical and geophysical data.
  • Site investigation recommendations on type and quantity of tests required.
  • Geotechnical risk assessments and trenching assessments.
  • Subsea structure foundation design to ISO, DNVGL, or API standards.
  • Pipeline-soil interaction assessments to DNVGL F114.
  • Design and assessment of suction pile capacity and hammered pile capacity.
  • Utilize available software and software tools to perform analysis, including finite element analysis and spreadsheet tools.

Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor of Engineering.
  • Minimum of five to seven years' experience in the oil and gas industry related to subsea geotechnics.
  • Registered with PEG-NL as a Professional Engineer.
  • Good communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Good leadership abilities.
