Technical Program Lead for Compensation Solutions

Amazon's Compensation Technology Team is seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager to lead the development of software products and distributed systems for managing compensation experiences. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in defining projects and programs, leading cross-functional teams, and navigating ambiguity.
The role involves working with stakeholders to align on business goals, influence designs, and build out technology process flows. Our team enables Amazon to realize its compensation goals by providing products and services for calculating and managing compensation changes.
About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Program Manager with 5+ years of technical product or program management experience and 7+ years of working with engineering teams. Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, project management disciplines, defining KPIs/SLAs, and reporting to senior leadership are also essential qualifications.
In addition to your strong technical skills, you will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You should have a solid understanding of software engineering principles and be able to influence design decisions. As a leader, you will drive the technical direction of multiple projects simultaneously and ensure they meet the desired business outcomes. Your expertise in metrics-driven decision making, collaboration, and stakeholder management will help guide our team's success.
What We Offer
Amazon offers a total compensation package including a base salary, equity, and other forms of compensation. For this position, the estimated annual salary range is $128,100 to $214,000.
