About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Shutdown Planner to join our team at Newcrest Mining. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in driving effective maintenance execution during shutdowns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of shutdown planners to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Ensure all shutdown activities comply with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies.
  • Promote a safety-first mindset and actively participate in site safety initiatives.
  • Conduct in-field verifications to ensure the quality of maintenance activities and enhance operational practices.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in shutdown planning or a similar role within the mining or industrial sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in team development and performance improvement.
  • SAP exposure.
  • C Class License.
