  • The Highwayman Pub in Abbotsford
  • The Highwayman Pub in South Surrey
  • Twenty-five gas station/convenience stores
Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Liquor Store Retail Associate to join our team at the Barnet Liquor Store. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will provide excellent customer service, process transactions, stock shelves, and contribute to maintaining a safe and clean store environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide exceptional customer service to guests in a courteous and efficient manner
  2. Process register transactions, refunds, and returns, and activate gift cards
  3. Ensure the register drawer is balanced at the end of each shift following company procedures
  4. Stock, face, and rotate products on the shelves
  5. Receive, check, and put away deliveries
  6. Keep the store and storage areas clean and organized
  7. Utilize product knowledge to promote sales
  8. Contribute to the team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community, and Excellence
  9. Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  1. Liquor retail experience is preferred
  2. Serving it Right license is required
  3. You enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  4. Team player with strong communication skills
  5. Problem solver and quick learner
  6. Ability to physically lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for full 8-hour shifts
  7. Must be committed to a SAFE working environment
  8. MUST be over 19 years of age to be considered
  9. MUST have open availability and able to work a variety of shifts that include mornings, afternoons, and late evenings
  10. This position is based out of the Barnet Liquor Store, though it may require occasional travel and work at other locations as business needs arise
