About the Opportunity

As a Respiratory Therapist with Nova Scotia Health, you will apply your knowledge and skills to provide diagnostic, assessment, and therapeutic modalities to assist in the management of cardiorespiratory and related disorders. You will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

You will also participate in educating patients, families, and other healthcare providers, promoting optimal health outcomes and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply knowledge and skills to provide diagnostic, assessment, and therapeutic modalities for cardiorespiratory and related disorders
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Educate patients, families, and other healthcare providers on respiratory therapy and related topics
Requirements
  • Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Certification in BCLS and ACLS (an asset)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Registration with the Nova Scotia College of Respiratory Therapists
Compensation and Benefits

$32.43 - $40.66 hourly
