Cardiovascular Care Specialist

In this dynamic role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality patient care in the management of cardiorespiratory and related disorders. Under the direction of the Manager, the Respiratory Therapist applies their knowledge, skills, and judgment to assist in diagnostic, assessment, and therapeutic modalities.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with various respiratory conditions.
- Participate in education programs for patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Respiratory Therapists.
- Certification in BCLS and ACLS (an asset).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $32.43 - $40.66. In addition to a comprehensive salary, the position offers benefits including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
