Job Title: Executive Culinary Director

We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Culinary Director to lead our culinary team at Kookjae Sikdang. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation.

About the Role:

The Executive Culinary Director will be responsible for supervising a team of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers. This includes demonstrating new techniques and equipment, creating new recipes, instructing cooks in food preparation and presentation, and planning menus that meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff
  • Supervise activities of specialist chefs and cooks
  • Create new recipes and menus
  • Instruct cooks in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
  • Supervise and train staff in food handling and preparation
  • Prepare and cook food regularly for special guests or functions
Requirements:

To be successful as an Executive Culinary Director at Kookjae Sikdang, you should have:

  • Experience in a similar role or as a head chef
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to create innovative and delicious dishes
  • Familiarity with menu planning and cost control
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
