Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner options;
  • Manage food inventory, ordering supplies as needed, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen space;
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations;
  • Maintain accurate records of meal production, waste, and inventory levels.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field;
  • A valid Red Seal Certificate and Safe Food Handling certificate;
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and residents;
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
