Role Overview

Aon is seeking an experienced Financial Institutions Relationship Manager to join our team in Edmonton or Calgary. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team, manage client relationships, and deliver innovative solutions to financial clients.

About the Job

This hybrid role combines remote and office work, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. As a Financial Institutions Relationship Manager, you will report directly to the Leader of the Advisor Errors and Omissions Programs, Financial Institutions Practice.

  • Deliver continuous excellence in servicing existing clients and developing new business opportunities;
  • Identify specific client needs and develop cost-effective solutions;
  • Coordinate account activities and establish client service plans that prioritize profitability;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects;
  • Provide leadership and support for insurance and industry-related presentations and seminars as needed;
  • Prepare monthly sales reports, progress reports, and status reports.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of five years of commercial insurance experience;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills;
  • Client-focused relationship-building skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision;
  • Meticulous attention to detail, refined organizational skills, and ability to multi-task;
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing requirements and deadlines under pressure;
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Package;
  • Bilingual French speaking is considered an asset.

Salary Estimate

The estimated annual salary for this role is between $80,000 - $120,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications. This range reflects the average market rate for similar roles in the Edmonton and Calgary areas.
