Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and creative programming for children, fostering a safe and engaging environment.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with families, ensuring excellent communication and service.
  • Implement the YMCA A Place to Connect curriculum with the support of your leader.
  • Plan and deliver an engaging and developmentally appropriate program of activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and supervision standards, adhering to licensing and YMCA requirements.
Requirements
  • Must be 19 years of age and provide three professional references.
  • Responsible Adult certification or equivalent child-related training.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check with clear Vulnerable Sector Search.
  • Current Child Care First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
What We Offer

As a School Age Leader with the YMCA, you will enjoy a competitive wage of $21.54 per hour, plus benefits including YMCA membership, paid sick days, and opportunities for education and career advancement.

Our full-time position offers a split shift schedule, Monday to Friday, with a 6:30am-9:00am and 1:00pm-5:30pm schedule.

Located in the heart of Hudson's Hope, our YMCA Child Care program is a home away from home for children, providing a safe and nurturing environment for growth and development.
