Job Title: School Age Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic School Age Leader to join our team at the YMCA Hudson's Hope. As a School Age Leader, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and programming for children in our before and after-school programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and supervision to children in our before and after-school programs
  • Develop and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate programs of activities
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with families and provide excellent customer service
  • Implement the YMCA A Place to Connect curriculum with the support of your leader
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times

Requirements:

  • Must be 19 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Responsible Adult certification or equivalent child-related training
  • Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check with clear Vulnerable Sector Search
  • Current Child Care First Aid, CPR, and AED certification
