About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Bear Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes to our exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook sushi dishes to order, using fresh and high-quality ingredients.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency and quality in our dishes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Monitor inventory and supplies, ordering as needed to maintain optimal levels.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and high-quality dishes.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
