We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team at Bear Sushi. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes, training staff, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment that meets health and safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
- Sushi Preparation Techniques: Develop and maintain expertise in sushi preparation techniques, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in the industry.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation and presentation, ensuring high-quality dishes that meet our standards.
