Job Summary

Modix Plastique Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and address equipment issues, ensuring optimal productivity.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Operate a variety of machinery, including mill, lathe, drill, grinder, and saw.
Requirements
  • E.P or equivalent technical degree in mechanics or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair in an industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and basic electrical system repairs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures related to maintenance and repair work.
