Pelican Events & Catering is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team. As an Accounting Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Payroll Administration: Process payroll, including calculating salaries, wages, and benefits.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
