We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Sankore Global Service. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee benefits.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
