Job Title: R&D Verification Engineer II

At Ansys, we are seeking a highly skilled R&D Verification Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our product creation team, you will be responsible for conducting software testing of SaaS-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Specify and write test cases, create, modify, and update existing tests, write and maintain test scripts
  • Perform functional, application, regression, performance, and API testing in manual and/or automated test environments and investigate possible causes of problems
  • Contribute to expanding test coverage, monitoring daily test results, and diagnosing root causes of test failures
  • Create test plans, participate in defect management, and testing metrics
  • Apply standard techniques and procedures and comply with the company's overall development and testing processes
Requirements:
  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 2 years of experience, or MS with no experience
  • Experience in web application automation tools like Selenium/Cypress/Playwright
  • Scripting experience in JavaScript or other scripting languages
  • Experience with automated test frameworks such as JUnit and/or TestNG
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical knowledge and experience with standard software engineering practices such as CI/CD
  • Experience with AWS/Azure Cloud
  • Experience in Postman and API testing
  • Programming experience in Java and/or Python
  • Knowledge of Ansys software products like Fluent, Mechanical, Electronics, etc.
  • Experience in a large-scale commercial software testing and verification environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and to collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team
