We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Biryani Lounge. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meats to meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
- Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to create standard cuts of meat
- Trim and prepare meats to meet customer specifications
- Wrap and package prepared meats for sale
- Remove bones from meat and prepare it for cooking
- Weigh meats for sale and ensure accurate pricing
- Cut poultry into parts and prepare it for cooking
- Price meat products and maintain accurate inventory
- Clean and prepare fish and shellfish for sale
- Sell meats to customers and provide excellent customer service
- Cut fish into steaks and fillets and prepare it for cooking
- Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers to ensure high-quality products
- Grind meats and prepare it for use in various dishes
- Train meat cutters to ensure they meet our high standards
- Prepare special orders and displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
- Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood to create visually appealing products
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Will train on the job
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods
Our Meat Cutter will work in a fast-paced meat department, surrounded by a team of experienced butchers and meat cutters. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to meet the needs of our customers.
