About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Meat Cutter to join our team at Milton Halal Meat. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meats to meet the high standards of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
  • Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
  • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
  • Wrap and package prepared meats
  • Remove bones from meat
  • Weigh meats for sale
  • Cut poultry into parts
  • Price meat products
  • Grind meats
  • Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Attention to detail
  • Hand-eye coordination
Working Conditions

Our butcher shop and supermarket/grocery store environments require a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be standing for extended periods and working in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Language and Cuisine

We are a Halal meat specialist, and we cater to customers who require Halal meat products. You will need to be proficient in Urdu and Punjabi languages.
