We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to join our team at Assurance Home Care Inc.

Job Summary:

The Personal Care Attendant will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives and work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Help clients with mobility and transfer activities
  • Administer medications and provide first aid as needed
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
