Job Title: Personal Care Attendant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to join our team at Assurance Home Care Inc.

Job Summary:

The Personal Care Attendant will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being. Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Help clients with mobility and transfer activities
  • Administer medications and provide wound care
  • Monitor clients' vital signs and report any changes to the supervisor
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in personal care or a related field
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job
Work Environment:

The Personal Care Attendant will work in clients' homes, providing care and support in a variety of settings. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
