About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our team at Ric's Lounge & Grill (Edmonton Airport) LTD. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and motivate a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
    • Recruit, train, and develop staff to meet the needs of the business.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Oversee the management of restaurant operations, including inventory management, supply chain logistics, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Customer Service and Sales
    • Ensure exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase customer loyalty.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the restaurant's budget, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
    • Monitor and control costs, ensuring the restaurant operates within budget and meets financial targets.
  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and increase brand awareness.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, including menus, flyers, and social media content.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, staff, and suppliers.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
