About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Countertop Installer to join our team at Shiny Stone Care. As a Countertop Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining countertops in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain countertops made of granite, marble, and other stone materials.
  • Site Preparation: Prepare surfaces for installation, including measuring, marking, and cleaning.
  • Tile Cutting and Fitting: Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Mortar and Adhesive Application: Mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using hand trowels.
  • Quality Control: Ensure high-quality installations and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work outdoors, in noisy environments, and lift heavy materials.
  • Personal Qualities: Organized, reliable, and a team player.
Working Conditions
  • Work Setting: Construction, service, residential, and commercial settings.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
