Job Title: Countertop Installer

Shiny Stone Care is seeking a skilled Countertop Installer to join our team. As a Countertop Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining countertops in residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Determine the most efficient layout and installation procedures for countertops
  • Set up and operate machinery and equipment to prepare surfaces for installation
  • Install and secure countertops using adhesives and other materials
  • Remove and replace damaged or cracked countertops
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications to ensure accurate installation
  • Prepare and measure surfaces to be covered with countertops
  • Cut, surface, and polish marble and granite to ensure a high-quality finish
  • Mix and apply adhesives and other materials to secure countertops
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Valid driver's license
  • Basic security clearance
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles
  • Ability to work outdoors and in noisy environments
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Reliability and attention to detail
Work Environment:

As a Countertop Installer, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying temperatures and weather conditions. You will be required to work outdoors and in noisy environments.

Language:

The primary language spoken in this role is English.

Work Hours:

40 hours per week, with overtime required as needed.
