Job Title: Millwright

Randstad Canada is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our client's team in Ancaster, ON. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for providing mechanical support to all departments within the facility, ensuring a safe work environment through effective maintenance of equipment, and troubleshooting any mechanical breakdowns in the production process.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides mechanical support to all departments within the facility
  • Prevent premature breakdown of the equipment used in production and to operate the facility through continual preventative maintenance
  • Ensure a safe work environment through effective maintenance of equipment
  • Trouble shoot any mechanical breakdown in the production process to ensure minimal loss in manufacturing of our products
  • Work together with all other departments to ensure a productive team environment and the continuous improvement of the plant processes
  • Report any concerns and/or problems to supervisor through daily written and verbal reporting
Requirements:
  • Must hold a valid 433A license or valid equivalent license from other provinces/countries
  • Certificate of Qualifications, Ontario Industrial Mechanic Millwright preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity required
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
