We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at Gabrieau's. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to our menu and quality standards.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Certifications: Cook Trade Certification, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Safe Food Handling certificate, and Food Safety Certificate.
- Cuisine Specialties: Canadian, Italian, Japanese, and Mediterranean cuisine.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, and time management.
