Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Nursing Care

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Strathcona Long Term Care. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and comfort to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform various tasks related to patient care and comfort, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or certificate in a related field.
  • 1-7 months of experience in a long-term care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
