About Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Limited

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Limited is seeking a qualified Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing technical, financial, and completion of major component exchanges throughout North America. This is a critical role that requires strong project management skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the technical, financial, and completion of major component exchanges throughout North America.
  • Be accountable for the schedule, cost, quality, and safety requirements related to specific work scopes and will involve the initiation, planning, and execution of assigned projects.
  • Act as a key customer interface and coordinate work activities with Siemens Gamesa internal partners in the Region and Global.
  • Manage data related to major campaign projects for conventional and craneless type exchanges, and on all SGRE platform types.

Requirements

  • A degree or diploma in a Mechanical or Business Management is an asset.
  • PMP certification from the Project Management Institute is an asset.
  • 2-5 years of experience in the wind industry with a focus on technical solutions.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to manage internal and external clients, analyze and resolve problems independently with a high level of results orientation.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to travel regularly to Siemens Gamesa wind farm sites to oversee projects in execution phase. The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
