Job Title: Financial Services Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Representative to join our team at Cheque Point. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our clients receive the best possible financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Approve or reject loan applications, and recommend applications for approval or rejection
  • Complete credit and loan documentation, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Forward irreconcilable accounts for collector action, and provide timely updates to clients
  • Open new personal and non-personal accounts, and provide access to automated banking services
  • Prepare statements on delinquent accounts, and work with clients to resolve outstanding issues
  • Promote the sale of credit and loan services, and identify opportunities to increase revenue
  • Research and evaluate loan applicants' financial status, references, credit, and ability to repay loans
  • Review and update credit and loan files, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Submit credit and loan applications to management, and provide recommendations for approval or rejection
  • Handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a large caseload
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Integrity, accuracy, and a client-focused approach
