Job Title: Financial Services Representative

About the Role:

As a Financial Services Representative at Cheque Point, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial services. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Approving or rejecting loan applications, or recommending them for approval or rejection
  • Completing credit and loan documentation
  • Forwarding irreconcilable accounts for collector action
  • Opening new personal and non-personal accounts, and providing access to automated banking machine, telephone banking, and online banking services
  • Preparing statements on delinquent accounts
  • Promoting the sale of credit and loan services
  • Researching and evaluating loan applicants' financial status, references, credit, and ability to repay loans
  • Reviewing and updating credit and loan files
  • Submitting credit and loan applications to management
  • Handling cash transactions

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Integrity, accurate, client-focused, and quick learner
