Job Title: Child Welfare Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Child Welfare Specialist to join our team at Chezranti Community Centre Ltd. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing support and services to children and families in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement specialized rehabilitation programs to support children and families
  • Conduct individual and group counselling sessions to address various issues
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support
  • Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of treatment programs and make recommendations for improvement
  • Perform administrative tasks, including maintaining program statistics and managing events

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP education
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
