Job Title: Financial Control Officer

Fleetex Transport Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Control Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for planning, setting up, and administering accounting systems, supervising staff, and providing financial, business, and tax advice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Supervise a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their financial responsibilities.
  • Train staff on financial procedures and systems to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies, including financial statements and reports.
  • Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures to ensure financial transparency and accountability.
  • Prepare income tax returns from accounting records and analyze financial documents and reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide financial, business, and tax advice to management and staff, ensuring they are aware of their financial responsibilities and obligations.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a financial control or accounting role.
  • Permanent employment with a 40-hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
