Financial Operations Manager

Fleetex Transport Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Control Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for planning, setting up, and administering accounting systems, supervising staff, and providing financial, business, and tax advice.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Supervise a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their financial responsibilities.
- Train staff on financial procedures and systems to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies, including financial statements and reports.
- Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures to ensure financial transparency and accountability.
- Prepare income tax returns from accounting records and analyze financial documents and reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide financial, business, and tax advice to management and staff, ensuring they are aware of their financial responsibilities and obligations.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a financial control or accounting role.
- Permanent employment with a 40-hour workweek.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
- Flexibility and initiative to adapt to changing financial circumstances.
- Accurate and efficient in financial procedures and systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Team player with a strong sense of reliability and organization.
