Financial Operations Manager

Fleetex Transport Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Control Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for planning, setting up, and administering accounting systems, supervising staff, and providing financial, business, and tax advice.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Supervise a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance targets.
- Train staff on financial procedures and systems to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively.
- Arrange training for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in financial management.
- Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies, including financial statements and reports.
- Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures to ensure the company's financial resources are used efficiently.
- Prepare income tax returns from accounting records and analyze financial documents and reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Examine accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide financial, business, and tax advice to management and staff to ensure informed decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as accounting or finance.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a financial control or accounting role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial issues.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Windows, with experience in using accounting software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a large workload.
- Flexibility, initiative, and a strong work ethic, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
