Cook Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cook Supervisor to join our team at Applebee's. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent food quality and service.
  • Food Preparation: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supply requirements, and oversee the preparation of meals to meet quality control standards.
  • Staff Management: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Administrative: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and submit reports as required.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.

Working Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will work closely with our kitchen staff to deliver excellent food and service to our customers.
