About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at Spacious Construction Corp. As a key member of our construction management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Budgeting: Prepare and submit detailed construction project budget estimates, taking into account various factors such as materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Subcontractor Management: Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors, ensuring that they meet the required quality and safety standards.
  • Project Scheduling: Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed to ensure timely completion.
  • Contract Administration: Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with clients and subcontractors.
  • Quality Control: Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control, ensuring that all construction work meets the required standards.
  • Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, ensuring that all financial aspects of the project are properly managed.
  • Procurement: Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions, ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on project progress, highlighting any issues or concerns that need to be addressed.
Requirements
  • Education: A college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Various locations, with the ability to travel as required.
  • Budgetary Responsibility: $1,500,001 - $4,000,000.
  • Health Benefits: Dental plan, health care plan, and permanent employment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
