About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 1490386 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective operational procedures to ensure seamless food service delivery, including managing inventory, supplies, and equipment.

Lead and Manage Food Service Staff

Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.

Manage Food Quality and Safety

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and adhering to health and safety regulations.

Prepare and Manage Budgets

Prepare and manage budgets, including estimating ingredient and supply costs, and monitoring expenses to ensure efficient use of resources.

Communicate with Customers and Staff

Address customer complaints or concerns, and maintain open communication with staff to ensure a positive and productive work environment.

Maintain Records and Reports

Prepare and submit reports, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, with 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management.

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.

Physical Demands

Physically demanding, with a need for attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
