Job Posting for Sessional Instructor (Lab Coordinator)

Position Overview:

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Toronto is seeking a highly qualified Sessional Lecturer to coordinate the in-person laboratory experiments in the areas of inorganic and physical chemistry in CHM151Y1 (Chemistry: The Molecular Science) for the Winter 2025 semester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate laboratory experiments in inorganic and physical chemistry
  • Supervise laboratory demonstrators
  • Manage and report student laboratory marks
  • Hold office hours

Requirements:

  • PhD in inorganic chemistry or a closely related field
  • Experience coordinating introductory-level laboratories in inorganic chemistry and/or physical chemistry at the university level
