Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Inorganic Chemistry Specialist to join our team at the University of Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting with the supervisor, preparing for laboratory sessions, and grading assignments and reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet with the supervisor to discuss laboratory sessions and assignments.
  • Prepare for laboratory sessions by reading manuals and reviewing materials.
  • Grade assignments and reports, including laboratory data sheets and formal lab reports.

Requirements:
  • A strong background in Inorganic Chemistry, with a focus on molecular orbital theory, coordination chemistry, and structural methods.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Relevant coursework or training in Inorganic Chemistry.

Working Conditions:
  • The laboratory sessions will be held on Tuesdays from 9 am to 4 pm.
