Job Description

We are seeking an experienced accounting technician to join our team at NOVA MANAGEMENT SERVICES.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Reconcile accounts to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position requiring the ability to work independently, with attention to detail, in a fast-paced environment. Overtime may be required, and the successful candidate must be able to work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.

What We Offer

In addition to a competitive salary, we offer free parking, parking available, and 32 to 35 hours per week. Our ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, be a team player, and possess time management skills.

Salary Range

We offer a salary range of $45,000 to $55,000 per year, based on location and experience.
