Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to residents in a long-term care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing services to residents with complex and unpredictable health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary resident care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify resident needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
  • Delegate care appropriately and monitor outcomes of delegated care.
  • Respond to a variety of simultaneous demands and adapt to changing situations.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved nursing educational program.
  • Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM).
  • Three (3) years current clinical experience in gerontology preferred.
  • Combination of education and experience will be considered including recent student practicum.
