About the Role:

Alteo is seeking a seasoned Chief Technology Officer to lead its technology strategy and drive innovation. As a key member of the executive team, you will be responsible for shaping the company's technology landscape and ensuring alignment with its strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technology Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive technology roadmap that aligns with the company's business goals and objectives.
  • Business Architecture: Design a collaborative business architecture that supports the company's strategy and priorities.
  • IT Leadership: Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of business requirements related to IT and align strategic objectives with internal stakeholders and senior management.
  • Project Management: Drive strategic IT projects to successful end results by aligning goals and timelines with stakeholders, communicating project plans internally, and assigning duties to project team members.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure corporate compliance in terms of IT and liaison with internal audit and risk management teams to implement reporting and action plans.
  • Advisory Role: Act as an expert advisor for the senior management team and other managers, providing advice and strategic guidance regarding IT trends.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of technology professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Supplier and Partner Management: Manage relations with major suppliers and partners.
  • Skills Development: Grow internal IT skills in Enterprise Architecture and Application Development.
  • Cyber Security: Focus on Cyber Security and ensure adequate protection against Threat Actors.
  • Disaster Recovery: Improve Disaster Recovery posture by leveraging Cloud technologies where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Education: University degree in IT or equivalent, MBA is an asset.
  • Experience: 10+ years experience in a similar role, with experience at the senior leadership level delivering innovative strategies and launching enterprise-wide programs in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
  • Skills: Solid knowledge of application design, data management, user experience, and technology infrastructure and production environments in a high-transaction environment.
  • Cloud and Cyber Security: Knowledge of Cloud Based, advanced Telephony platform, Artificial Intelligence technologies, and Robotic Process Automation.
  • Agile Development: Working experience with Agile Development Methodology.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Proven track record in building and maintaining collaborative professional relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to analyze documentation and verbalize results.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Excellent mentorship and leadership skills, with the ability to lead teams to a high level of performance and manage a CAPEX/OPEX budget.
