The Pastry Chef role at All Indian Grocery Store/Takeout Limited involves preparing high-quality baked goods for our customers. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes.

You will also train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff, and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.

Additionally, you will requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, bake mixed dough and batters, and prepare special orders. You will also oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods, prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and inspect kitchen and food service areas.

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. A secondary (high) school graduation certificate and equivalent experience are required. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, work well in a fast-paced environment, and be able to handle tight deadlines and pressure.

All Indian Grocery Store/Takeout Limited offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. This estimate is based on industry standards for similar positions in the area.
